I jumped out of bed (and nearly fell flat on my face) geared up and ready to go on Day 2! We started the day with a General Session where our CEO provided us with gold nuggets of wisdom. I totally understand why Kristine was chosen to lead Chalk Couture, she is a servant leader that truly inspires, and good-god is she smart! When I grow up I want to be just like her!

We were also introduced to some new tools that will make it even easier for us designers to do our job, including a new training program for new Designers!

We also learned that a new trip incentive is being rolled out for those that reach the top level of the company – they will be going to PARIS in October 2019! So amazing!

It was also announced that we have a new partnership with a non-profit called Watts of Love. There are 1.1 Billion people in the world without electricity and in third-world areas where they don’t have access to electricity they often use kerosene lamps. Not only are these lamps causing fires and people, especially children, to get severe burns, but the kerosene is highly toxic. Kids wake up in the morning with black soot/tar in their noses from the lamps being lit throughout the night – to them its like smoking 2 packs of cigarettes a day! Watts of Love goes out into these areas and hands out solar lights which gives these families what they need without exposing their children to dangerous chemicals. Chalk Couture has released this transfer (don’t you love it) and $2 from the sale of each will go directly to Watts of Love.

The afternoon was filled with more business classes where I learned so much! Everything from Social Media to our back office was covered!

We rounded out the day with the Closing General Session and it was revealed that the next trip incentive that will be awarded to the top qualifying 60 designers is an all-inclusive trip to MEXICO! YEAH – I think I am going to win that trip, guys!

Finally we ended the night dancing and partying to the musical stylings of DJ Alive!

As you can see it was a power-packed two days but it was absolutely incredible! Much love and admiration goes out to the team in Salt Lake that planned everything! I can’t wait to see them (and maybe even you) next year at convention in Dallas, TX June 28-29, 2019!!
